After a career in law and business, Audrey now focuses on her first love, literature: she is a literary translator working from German into English, with a focus on feminist literature as well as modern poetry. For an excerpt from Das zweite Paradies by Hilde Domin, the subject of her Masters’ Thesis in literary translation, Audrey received a Radial-Initiativstipendium prize from the Deutscher Übersetzerfonds.

In 2025 Audrey was short-listed for the BCLA’s John Dryden translation Competition for a story by Ilse Aichinger, translated together with Jen Busch; in 2024 the pair was long-listed in the same competition for two short stories by Marie Luise Kaschnitz. Her work has appeared in Asymptote and Konzepte. She is based in the greater Munich area, where she translates, rows and hikes.
